Picking Books to Read?

Alright.  I am on a ROLE with this blogging thing this summer.  Actually finding it easy and relaxing.  That’s a good thing.  Right?

Let’s talk books.  Yesterday, I made my way to the local used book store.  I stocked up and got several new books.  For some reason, I have been buying novels left and right.  I have been really stuck on reading the classics.  Not quite sure why.  So, here I am with about 30 books on my bookshelf that I haven’t touched and want to read.  I am making my way through a BORING novel right now.  Not quite sure why I keep reading it.  I think it’s because I want to know what happens at the end.  I skipped pages and did finish reading this book last night. Way not cool ending.  Should have just stopped reading it.  It was a waste of time.  So, now I have a predicament.  How do I choose which book to read next?  I want to read ALL of them.  Should I pick a classic, romance, suspense, romance/suspense, biography?  Or just close my eyes and grab a book?  What do you do when you are choosing a new book to read?  Any recommendations on what to do in this predicament?
